If Tristam’s line of Halloween-themed coasters keeps you up at night, maybe he’s just getting even. After all, he created the illustrations in the long, sleepless nights after bringing his infant daughter home from the hospital.

The 34-year-old Brit lives in the South of France, where he and his wife own a campground. Between freelance assignments and diaper changes, he’s writing and illustrating a rhymed children’s book entitled “Monster in the Bathtub.”

Tristam prefers Spanish Rioja, “which doesn’t go down well living in France.” If he scares up the most sales this year, he wants his award to go to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
